Is Cognitive Switch proven to work?

A recent study published in the Journal of the American Nutrition Association proves that the ketone precursor ingredient in Cognitive Switch, bis hexanoyl (R)-1,3-butanediol (BH-BD), also known as C8 Ketone Di-ester, induces ketosis in healthy adults at rest within 30 minutes, even without eating a keto diet, so yes it works! The keto diet or fasting can take one or more days to achieve ketosis, making Cognitive Switch drink or powder a great complement to any routine. However, it’s important to keep in mind that consuming ketones should not be a replacement for healthy eating.

HOW IS COGNITIVE SWITCH DIFFERENT FROM METABOLIC SWITCH?

Both versions of our ketone ester products contain very similar but slightly different ketone esters precursors. Our new version of beverage has been reformulated with fewer ingredients and a cleaner tasting active ingredient. The name change from Metabolic Switch to Cognitive Switch is to more accurately describe the specific benefits of our proprietary ketone ester.

Why is it called Di-ester?

Cognitive Switch drink contains 25g of C8 Ketone Di-ester as the exogenous ketone ingredient. C8 Ketone Di-ester is made up of two parts (di means two) C8 (hexanoic acid) esterified to one part (R) 1,3-butanediol. When consumed, the ester bonds are hydrolyzed and the breakdown products C8 and butanediol are absorbed and transported to the liver, the primary site of ketogenesis.

Will it take time to adapt to the C8 Ketone Di-ester?

Ketones represent a new fourth dietary macronutrient, in addition to carbohydrates, fats and proteins. Cognitive Switch contains a highly concentrated, highly efficacious level of 25g of C8 Ketone Di-ester. Whenever you add new foods to your diet there is a chance that your body takes a while to adapt and the same is true for ketones. If you aren’t used to consuming ketone esters, you might experience some stomach discomfort for a short while after taking the product. You might not experience any issues. Each body can acclimate differently. To help your body adapt, you can start by taking one serving of Cognitive Switch for a few days before moving to two servings daily. How do I start?

What is the difference between ketosis boost and deep nutritional ketosis?

Nutritional ketosis is said to begin around 0.5 mmol/L of beta-hydroxybutyrate (BHB) in blood. In a human study of Cognitive Switch, we noticed that one scoop mixed with liquid boosted blood ketones comfortably over this threshold of nutritional ketosis, or what we call a ketosis boost, while 2 scoops significantly amplified this response, as would be expected with double the serving. Deep nutritional ketosisfor Cognitive Switch indicates values that are significantly higher than 0.5 mmol/L but still in the range for nutritional ketosis of up to 4 mmol/L. Yes. The ingredients in Cognitive Switch do not contain gluten. Further, the equipment used to manufacture Cognitive Switch is maintained and controlled to eliminate any potential contact of gluten residue with Cognitive Switch. However, we do not state this on the label because we have not conducted gluten testing of our products.

Will Cognitive Switch help me lose weight?

Cognitive Switch doesn’t have the same weight loss benefits as going on the keto diet. That's because when you’re taking Cognitive Switch, the ketones come from the product, not your own fat. But Cognitive Switch could support your weight loss as part of a holistic diet and exercise regimen.

Can Cognitive Switch replace the keto diet?

Cognitive Switch allows you to switch to burning ketones for energy without a restrictive diet or fasting. How can I find out the status of my order?

We are excited for you to receive your order and we ship out 85% of orders the same business day and 99% of all orders by next business day. Once your order has shipped you will receive a shipping notification email that contains your shipping tracking. You can then track your shipment until arrival. You can also find this information under your My Account/Order History.

When will my order ship?

My order needed verification; will it ship today?

If your order is held for verification purposes (most commonly billing or address verification) it will ship as soon as we can resolve the issue. This often involves getting clearance from banks or additional information from you.

I have changed my address, email address and/or credit card. How do I change my account information?

Login in to your account from the top navigation. Under account "edit details" you will be able to change your name and email address. Under "subscriptions" you can click through your subscription order to update your payment option, billing and/or shipping address, pause, cancel or ship now.

I've forgotten the password for my account. What should I do?

Click on the My Account icon in the top navigation and select "forgot my password" link that will take you through the process to change your password.

How do I "Sign out" of my account?

I’m locked out! How do I get back in?

How do I close the account of a deceased person?

Please email us at care@juvlabs.com with the name and email address associated with their account that you are requesting to close. Please provide proof of authority under local law that you are the lawful representative of the deceased person, or his/her estate.

Can I make changes to my order after I have submitted it?

We work hard to get your orders processed as quickly as possible. Due to the speed of most of our shipments, we are not able to make any changes to your order once it has been submitted.

Where do you ship to?

At this time we ship to all contiguous U.S. States, U.S. Territories (Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam, American Samoa, Palau, and the Northern Mariana Islands), P.O. Boxes, APO, FPO, or DPO addresses.

Do you ship to Canada?

You can ship Cognitive Switch to an address in Canada from Amazon.com. Orders are for personal use only and are limited to a 90-day supply.

Can customers outside the U.S. order from the website?

Currently, we ship to addresses in the United States, APO/FPO/DPO, and U.S. Territories. You may make a purchase from anywhere in the world, provided the order is shipped to a U.S. address and is paid with a U.S. addressed credit card. 

Shipping to Canada is available from Amazon.com.

Can I ship to an address other than my own?

What should I do if my items arrive damaged or defective?

We make every effort to package your order so that it will arrive in great condition, but sometimes items can be damaged during shipment. We will need your name, order number and the item number that was damaged. Please attach images of the damage so we can pass it along to our quality team.

What should I do if I received the wrong item?

We will send you a mailing label to have the incorrect product returned to us, and send out the correct product right away. You will receive the correct one before you know it.
